Small room with humble furnishings, could barely move around the bed. It was necessary to close the glass door to outdoor area to overcome the noise from airconditioning/other machinery outside. Reception gave us directions on three occasions ( it was dark and it was our first trip to Hervey Bay) and sent us on a wild goose chase for over 40 minutes; no apology at the end apart from " Well I don't know which direction is East or West".
Beautiful restful town. Wonderful restaurants/cafes. Island hopping and whale watching a must. A nice place to visit and holiday.
