This motel needs a great deal of refurbishment to bring it up to standard and to justify the 5 a night charge for the family room. The paint work was peeling, the couch was adequate if that, the hot water took at least 2 minutes to kick in and the shower head was at a reasonable height if you were a midget.
Mackay is a lovely city.
