We found this motel very useful with having children, as it had a central adjoining doors. And it was similar pricing to other motels in the area and could sleep up to 6 people comfortably (by using 2 small sofas). As it was adjoining rooms, we had the added benefit of 2 bathrooms and toilets, as well as 2 tv's, tea/coffee facilities, patio's, etc. However, the tv's were not tuned in properly, so not all channels were clear and although there was Austar, there were no childrens channels (e.
Nick or Disney channels). Otherwise we would stay there again.
Townsville is a great place to stay!!! Nearby you have Reef HQ, NQ Museum, Casino, city life within walking distance, as well as bus, train stations closeby. Magnetic Island is great to visit and stay, and the ferry is close to the motel. Also, the motel is on the Strand which has a rock pool, wet area and boardwalk. A great place for families to visit!!!!
