The interior is outdated and old but very clean. Beds were very comfy.
When I went to the office to ask for Shampoo and Conditioner, I was informed that they were cost cutting and didn't supply it. ??? 5 per night and NO SHAMPOO???
We didn't bring any as we were only staying one night but the kids needed to wash their hair after the Wakakiri (Rock Estedford) performance.
The staff were lovely and very helpful and most apologetic re shampoo etc.
If staying here - which I recommend - BYO shampoo and conditioner (I usually do)
Thank you for a lovely stay any way.
Desperately need more place to eat with children after 5pm other than McDonalds.
Book Tropic Coast Motel - 158 Nebo Road, Mackay, or Mackay Area Accommodation and Hotels.
