We stayed for only a couple of nights but enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Canopy Tropical Chalets is well maintained and very quiet. We actually thought we were royality staying there. They have the simple things right. We arrived with no fuss with Alan carrying our bag to the room. He told us to grab the push bikes if we like and go for a little explore and some food. See just a simple touch. There is a bus stop right out front and for .60 per day you can go from bay to bay. This is a great place and next time in Townsville visiting the folks and looking for a holiday we'll be shure to stay there again. Without doubt.
Magnetic Island itself. Do the lot by catching a bus and exploring the bays.
